OFFICIAL SWEEPSTAKES RULES
NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. PURCHASE WILL NOT INCREASE ODDS OF WINNING.
1. HOW TO ENTER: Enter online at http://sponsors.wwe.com/godsend/index.html (the "Website") by
filling out the online entry form and clicking "enter". Online entries must be received between 12:01 a.m. (ET) on March 15 2004, when Sweepstakes begins, and no later than 11:59 p.m. (ET) on May 2, 2004 when Sweepstakes ends. Only one entry per person and per unique email address. The Sweepstakes is intended for participation only in the United States and shall be construed according to, and governed exclusively by, United States law. By participating in the Sweepstakes, each entrant unconditionally accepts and agrees to comply with and abide by these Official Rules and the decisions of World Wrestling Entertainment, Inc. ("WWE"), which shall be final and binding in all respects.
2. ELIGIBILITY: Sweepstakes open only to legal residents
of the 48 contiguous United States and the District of Columbia
(this excludes Alaska and Hawaii), who are (13) years of age
or older at the time of entry, except employees (and their
immediate families -- meaning spouses, parents, siblings,
children and their spouses) of World Wrestling Entertainment,
Inc. and Lions Gate Films, their respective affiliates, promotion
and advertising agencies and anyone involved in the Sweepstakes’
development or execution. Online entrants must have Internet
access as of March 15, 2004.
3. SELECTION OF WINNER: One potential Grand Prize
Winner shall be selected at random from all eligible entries,
on or about May 5, 2004 by WWE whose decision is final and
binding on all aspects of this Sweepstakes using randomized
methods selected in its sole discretion. If a potential Grand
Prize Winner cannot be reached or does not respond within
five (5) days of the first notification attempt, or if the
prize or prize notification is returned as declined, unclaimed
or undeliverable to such potential winner, such potential
winner will forfeit his or her prize and an alternate winner
may be selected. Sponsor shall have no liability for any winner
notification that is lost, intercepted or not received by
the potential winner for any reason. If any potential winner
is found to be ineligible, or if he or she has not complied
with these Official Rules, such potential winner will be disqualified,
and an alternate winner will be selected at random from the
remaining eligible entries.
4. PRIZE:
One (1) Grand Prize consists of one (1) lab coat signed by
cast members of “Godsend” (exact cast members
selected by Sponsor in its sole discretion), one (1) “Godsend”
movie poster, and four (4) tickets to attend a WWE event in
the Grand Prize Winner’s area ("Event") (exact
WWE Event, event location, seat location, and date subject
to WWE's discretion and subject to change). Winner responsible
for all applicable taxes.
5. APPROXIMATE RETAIL VALUE: APPROXIMATE RETAIL VALUE
(ARV) OF GRAND PRIZE: $235.
6. ODDS OF WINNING: Odds of winning depend upon the
number of eligible entries received.
7. CONDITIONS OF PARTICIPATION: Prizes may not be substituted, transferred or redeemed for cash, except by Sponsor, who reserves the right to substitute prizes of comparable or greater value in its sole discretion. By taking part in this Sweepstakes, participants agree to be bound by these Official Rules. Sponsor reserves the right permanently to disqualify from this Sweepstakes any person it believes has intentionally violated these Rules. Entry constitutes permission (except where prohibited by law) to use a winner's name and hometown on Sponsor's websites and to use a winner's name, city, state, likeness and/or voice for purposes of advertising, promotion and publicity without additional compensation.
8. GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS: Sweepstakes subject
to all Federal, state and local laws. SWEEPSTAKES VOID WHERE
PROHIBITED. All Federal, state and local taxes are sole responsibility
of winners. Sweepstakes materials are void if they contain
printing, mechanical or other errors. Incomplete entries will
be disqualified. No mechanically reproduced entries allowed.
No responsibility will be assumed for lost, late, stolen,
illegible, incomplete, damaged, postage due, misdirected or
mutilated entries. “Releasees” (as defined below)
are not responsible for lost, interrupted or unavailable network,
server or other connections, miscommunications, failed telephone
or computer hardware or software transmissions or technical
failures, incomplete, delayed or garbled transmissions or
other errors or problems of any kind, whether mechanical,
electronic, human or otherwise. Sponsors reserve the right,
in their sole discretion, to cancel or suspend this Sweepstakes
should a virus, bug, computer or other problem corrupt the
administration, security or proper play of this Sweepstakes.
Sponsor reserves the right to award prizes from among the
eligible, non-suspect entries received prior to the action
requiring modification. If Sponsor determines that there is
any suspected or actual electronic tampering with the Sweepstakes,
of if technical difficulties compromise the integrity of the
Sweepstakes, Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion,
to void any entries that appear to have been submitted fraudulently
or to cancel or modify the Sweepstakes, in whole or in part.
All entries become property of Sponsor and none will be acknowledged
or returned.
9. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY: By participating in this
Sweepstakes, all entrants release WWE, Lions Gate Films, and
their respective affiliates, subsidiaries, parent companies,
prize suppliers, advertising and promotion agencies, and all
of their respective officers, directors, employees, shareholders,
representatives, agents and all others associated with the
development or execution of this Sweepstakes (collectively,
“Releasees”) from any and all liability including,
without limitation, liability for death, personal injury,
damage or loss of any kind, and from liability to any other
persons relating to or resulting or arising in any way from
participating in this Sweepstakes or any Sweepstakes-related
activity, and/or the receipt, use or misuse of a prize or
parts thereof, and/or accessing the Website or otherwise entering
or downloading materials or software in connection with this
Sweepstakes.
10. DISPUTES/GOVERNING LAW: In the event of any dispute regarding the identity of a person submitting an entry, the entry will be deemed submitted by the authorized e-mail account holder, which is defined for these Rules as the natural person who is assigned to an e-mail address by an Internet access provider, online service provider or other organization that is responsible for assigning e-mail addresses for the domain associated with the submitted e-mail address. A potential winner may be requested to provide the Sponsor with proof that the potential winner is the authorized account holder of the e-mail address associated with the winning entry. If a dispute cannot be resolved to Sponsor's satisfaction, the entry will be deemed ineligible. Participants agree that this Sweepstakes is governed solely by United States law. Any claims arising out of the Sweepstakes shall be governed solely by United States law and may be brought only in a Federal or state court in Connecticut. If any provisions of these Rules are held to be invalid or unenforceable, all remaining provisions hereof will remain in full force and effect.
11. DATA COLLECTION: WWE collects personal information
from you when you enter the Sweepstakes. See WWE's privacy
policy at www.WWE.com/help/privacy/
for information about how personal information may be used.
In addition, unless you deselect the check box at the time
of entry, WWE will share your contact information with Lions
Gate Films, which may send you information about Lions Gate
Films and promotions and the use of your information by Lions
Gate Films will be governed by the Lions Gate Films privacy
policy.
